Applications are being accepted for participation in the Crimea in the History of the Russian World quiz. Russian compatriots, who constantly live outside of Russia and are interested in the history of the country, are welcome to take part in it. The quiz is organized by the government of Crimea and the permanent mission of the peninsula under the President of Russia. This year's competition will become the 4th in a row.

The main goal of the action is to give an opportunity to get to know Crimea better and demonstrate all the diversity of history, culture, traditions and nature of the peninsula.

Applications for participation can be sent until November 23. The organizers are waiting for a questionnaire and correct answers to 20 questions. Participants must also write an essay on a given topic.

The organizing committee noted that the awarding ceremony would take place before the beginning of December. The main prize for the winners will be a week-long tour to Crimea for two.

A year ago, the number of participants exceeded 230 people, they represented 55 countries. The residents of Uzbekistan, Moldova, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Iran and Denmark became the most active participants.
