The Russian national team was not included in the list of participants in the 2020 European Rhythmic Gymnastics Championship, TASS reports.

The tournament is scheduled for late autumn and will be hosted by the Ukrainian capital. The European Union of Gymnastics indicates that about 300 athletes will compete for the title of the best gymnasts of the continent. They will represent 39 European countries.

The reasons why the Russian team was not included in the number of participants in the competition are unknown yet.
