The program of the Years of Russian-Chinese scientific, technical and innovative cooperation has been launched. They are held to strengthen relations between the two countries and develop contacts in various fields between scientists from Russia and China.
It was planned that the years of scientific and technical exchange will unite several hundred events of various directions. Special attention is given to the promotion of the Russian and Chinese languages in the partner country.
Russian president Vladimir Putin congratulated the participants of the program, the Kremlin website reports. He is confident that advanced technologies are one of the most promising areas of bilateral cooperation. In his opinion, the interaction of scientific institutions of Russia and China in the fight against coronavirus is very important. The experience gained by both parties in the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of the disease is already yielding results.
The head of state is convinced that innovative solutions affect the future of the country, affect the development of the economy, social sphere and infrastructure. Ultimately, all this helps to improve the quality of life for people.
As part of the cross-year program, it is planned to implement Russian-Chinese scientific projects, hold exhibitions, symposia and exchange of delegations, including through academic institutions, universities and innovation centers.
