An award for volunteers is planned to be established in Russia, TASS reports. Its laureates will be volunteers who solve global problems in different countries. Artyom Metelev, head of the board of the Association of Volunteer Centers, called the award a "civilian Nobel prize". It will reward citizens of other countries for their contribution to solving problems in their countries. The activist spoke about this during his speech to the participants of the Mashuk youth forum.

According to Metelev, the International Volunteer Forum will take place at the end of the year. It will be held in face-to-face format. The forum will be given a new name: it will be renamed the International Forum of Civil Participation.

The We are together volunteer action, which started during self-isolation, will continue. The national prize will also bear this name. It will unite several nominations: in addition to volunteers, entrepreneurs, journalists and bloggers will be awarded for activities and materials related to social topics.
