Families of Russian compatriots living in Lebanon and affected by the August 4 blast in Beirut receive assistance from organizations of Russian compatriots within the framework of the Lend a Helping Hand volunteer charity project. At the end of August, a rehabilitation program will be organized for this category of compatriots, according to the group of the Youth Wing of the Coordinating Council of Organizations of Russian Compatriots (CCORC) in Egypt on Facebook.

The organizers of the charitable program were representatives of CCORC and volunteer organizations. It is reported that the project participants visited the houses of Russian compatriots who suffered from the explosion and handed them furniture, household appliances, dishes and clothing purchased with funds collected by compatriots.

According to the project participants, all affected families need psychological help and support. For this, on August 29 and 30, a meeting of compatriots with a family and child psychologist will be organized. The program also includes anti-stress classes for children and adults will be held.
