Aeroflot has been named the world's strongest aviation brand. In the rating, compiled by the independent Brand Finance consulting company, the Russian company has surpassed the world's leading aviation giants, including Turkish Airlines, Emirates, Air Asia and others. It is noted that Aeroflot managed not only not to reduce the indicators, but also to improve them in the situation of the global crisis, TASS reports.

Aeroflot was also able to become the leader of the Russian brand rating. The top 5 also includes Sberbank, which previously headed the rating, MTS, Gazprom and Lukoil. Aeroflot representatives said that the company managed to strengthen its position in a crisis situation, which was taken by the authors of the rating as proof of the brand's good reputation and popularity.

Brand Finance CEO David Haye emphasized that the Russian company was effectively using its brand with a solid history and successfully coping with the challenges in the era of the coronavirus pandemic. Aeroflot CEO Vitaly Savelyev called the company the face of Russia in the world and noted Aeroflot's ability to overcome crisis circumstances.
