Russian government allowed Swiss citizens to enter the country

Swiss citizens have been allowed to enter Russian territory, TASS reports. The head of the Government of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin ordered the lifting of restrictions for residents of this country, which were introduced to combat the spread of coronavirus infection.

The Swiss will be able to come to Rssia by plane. Air traffic between the two countries is going to resume from mid-August on a reciprocal basis. The planes will fly the route connecting the two countries on a weekly basis.

As Russkiy Mir reported earlier, Russia resumed international flights on 1 August. The planes went abroad from Moscow, the Moscow region, St. Petersburg and Rostov-on-Don. The first countries with which air traffic is being restored are Great Britain, Turkey, Tanzania and Abkhazia.

On August 1, the planes flew from Russia to London, Ankara, Istanbul and Zanzibar, later flights to other cities of these countries will open. According to Transport Minister Yevgeny Dietrich, the possibility of restoring regular flights is currently being discussed with another 30 states.
