The joint tourist route is being developed by Russian and Finnish specialists, the St. Petersburg Vedomosti newspaper writes. It will be dedicated to the great commander Alexander Suvorov.

The first part of the project is called "Suvorov in Vyborg", it combines addresses associated with the name of the famous Russian military leader, including the square of the Vyborg Regiments, a castle, a house on Krepostnaya Street, where, according to historians, Suvorov lived, and Anninskie fortifications.

The journey to Vyborg will end with a tour of a multimedia exposition telling about the creative activity of the commander. It is planned that the exposition will be located in the Vyborg Entrepreneurship Support Center.

Work on an international project is being carried out within the framework of cross-border cooperation between the two countries, it began in 2020. Specialists in Russia and Finland are preparing the local parts of the route, which will then be combined into a common tour. The route will be laid through Novaya Ladoga, Priozersk. In Finland, the journey will pass through canals and fortresses built by the generalissimo. Tourists will be able to visit museums and see the sights associated with the name of Suvorov. This route will be available in 2022.
