A unique interactive map has been compiled by Russian diplomats in Greece, according to the website of the Moscow House of Compatriot. It shows the burial places of Russian soldiers. This is the first time a similar project has been implemented in Greece.

The map displays all 18 military memorials located in the country. The places marked on the map are supplemented with detailed information about the burials. The map is made on the basis of materials of inventory and certification of burials. This work has been carried out by the Russian Embassy and the Office of the Military Attaché over the past several years.

On the map, one can find historical materials telling about the exploits of soldiers, personal data of the fallen heroes. There are also photos, diagrams and descriptions of burials.

Anyone who wants to visit the monuments can find a convenient route even in the most remote Greek regions.

The search and war memorial work did not end there. Russian diplomats ask all site visitors to send them possible additional information about military graves, as well as about common pages of the military history of the Russian and Greek peoples.
