Musk calls cosmonaut Sergey Korolev one of the best

The famous American businessman Ilon Musk, the founder of SpaceX, named the founder of Russian rocket science, Sergey Korolyov,  the best, RIA Novosti reports.

According to Andrey Korolev, the grandson of the famous Soviet scientist who created the first space satellite and put the first cosmonaut of the planet into orbit, Musk treats the academician with great respect. The businessman is sure that he is one of the best engineers. Elon Musk called Sergey Korolev one of the outstanding people of his time.

Earlier, Musk wrote about the conversation with the descendants of Korolev on Twitter. "I spoke with Korolev’s family today. He was one of the very best," he stated. The entrepreneur wrote the name of the academician in Russian.

Andrey Korolev added that the academician's family congratulated Musk on the successful launch of the SpaceX Crew Dragon spacecraft. After that, the businessman’s representative contacted them and offered to communicate with the entrepreneur via video communication.
