The Russian language training program, developed by a graduate of Moscow State University, has received funding from the Irish state agency - Enterprise Ireland. The project of the teacher of Russian as a second language (RSL) Anastasia Volkova is called Survival Russian. It is a mobile platform designed for students of RSL, the Russian Ireland newspaper reports.

The Survival Russian platform is meant to host RSL apps. According to Anastasia Volkova, the resource is based on a communicative approach, which is actively used in teaching English.

The first application on the platform is intended for those who are taking their first steps in learning the Russian language, as well as for tourists planning to go to Russia. During ten lessons, consisting of dialogues and tests, the student receives the basics of the Russian language and can enter into communication with native speakers.

To receive financial support from the Irish fund, Anastasia Volkova had to submit a business plan, go through a video interview, and after receiving a positive result, move to Cork, where she is developing her business now.
