Students of Yaroslavl State University have developed an application for distance learning using virtual reality technology. According to the developers, the application makes learning easier, more visual and more interesting, and virtual reality technology allows you to dive deeper into the subject, TASS reports.

The application is designed for computers and has modern technologies for the visibility of the taught material. For example, illustrations can be presented in the form of 3D models that can be viewed from all sides and compared with each other. Pupils and students can use the application for remote and independent learning.

The application is equipped with special glasses for immersion in the subject of study. For example, technology can be used in distance biology classes. According to the developers, the list of academic disciplines with adapted virtual reality can grow.
