The Union of Chinese Entrepreneurs in Russia plans to support the promotion of Russian products in the markets of Hainan and other provinces of China, as well as Southeast Asia. In addition, the union intends to take part in other projects to develop cooperation in various fields between the specified province and Russia, TASS reports.

These and other plans were voiced by the head of the Union, Zhou Litsun. As part of a speech at an online conference that connected the representatives of the union and Hainan, he announced that the association was counting on cooperation in five areas.

Among the priorities is the promotion of Russian goods in the markets of China and other Asian countries. Zhou Litsun emphasized that the Union would support the search for "the best companies to enter the Hainan market." The plans also include promotion of investment cooperation and joint trade and logistics projects in Russia and Hainan, as well as the organization of events to develop business contacts between the parties.

The start of construction of a free trade port in Hainan was announced in early summer. Along with other preferences, the emergence of the port will allow the province to receive significant investment benefits.
