The comic about Soviet women who participated in the Great Patriotic War is gaining popularity in Japan, the Pobeda.RF website reports. This was stated by Kantaro Ogino, who published a manga entitled "The War Does Not Have a Female Face." The work is based on the eponymous collection of short stories written by Svetlana Aleksievich.

Ogino believes that the new manga "perfectly talks about the war." According to him, the manner of depicting military events in it causes the greatest response from the audience.

Svetlana Aleksievich's stories are dedicated to the life of Soviet women who fought on the fronts of the Great Patriotic War. According to many critics, they perfectly convey the atmosphere of wartime through the eyes of women.

At the end of winter, Tokyo hosted the cultural festival of Russia and the countries of Eurasia . Its was organized by an association of Japanese students studying Russian.
