22.06.2020

Lectures and online meetings for Russian-speaking teenagers abroad, dedicated to the 75th anniversary of victory in the Great Patriotic War, will be held from June 22 to 24 as part of the Our Dear Russia project, launched in Spain. The program will end with a lecture on the historic Victory Parade, organizers report.

The project opened with a speech by Natalya Petrova, director of the Pushkin Museum of History and Literature. She prepared a message about St.Petersburg, as well as about the tragic pages of its history - the offensive of the German invaders and the heroism of the local population, who saved cultural values.

The presentation of the TASS special project called “Tales in the bomb shelter: chronicles of kindergartens and schools of besieged Leningrad” will be held on June 23. The project will tell about the heroism of teachers and educators during the years of the blockade.

On June 24, the day of the Victory Parades in Moscow and other Russian cities, an online lecture by the historian Anna Bolotova on historical parades in Moscow and Leningrad will take place.

The Our Dear Russia project is held with the participation of the Union of Organizations of Russian Compatriots in Spain and Andorra, the Russian Consulate in Morocco and other organizations. The project has been organized by Irina Chistyakova, director of the Russian School No. 1 in Marbella, coordinator of the Russian Language Support in Spain and Andorra project for more than two and a half months.
