Compatriots from 40 countries support creation of Heirs of Victory movement

Participants of the Heirs of Victory international union supported the creation of the Heirs of Victory youth movement. The conference was attended by representatives of 40 countries of Europe, Asia, Africa and Australia. The meeting took place on the Day of Remembrance and Sorrow, according to the website of the Moscow House of the Compatriot.

The participants in the virtual meeting were Russian compatriots from the UK, France, Australia, Denmark, Greece, India, the CIS countries and other countries. The meeting gathered people who wanted to open representative offices of the Heirs of Victory in their countries of residence. They unanimously supported the creation of youth departments in organizations.

The conference was opened and conducted by the Heirs of Victory union, led by professor of the Academy of Military Sciences of Russia Valery Kalyakin. The conference also discussed the creation of the Coordinating Council of the Partnership of Twin Schools and the preparation of events for International Peace Day, announced on September 21.

In mid-June the organization announced the start of a project dedicated to the Day of Family, Love and Faithfullness. Russian compatriots living in different countries of the world were invited to upload family photos on social networks with hashtags of the action.
