About 400 Russian citizens are returning home from the United States, RIA Novosti reports. They became passengers of an export flight departing from New York. According to the Russian ambassador Anatoly Antonov, there are almost 20 babies on board with adults.

The senior diplomat noted that more than 70 people with urgent reasons for returning flew home. This group includes those Russians who found themselves in difficult life circumstances, elderly people, people with disabilities and those who underwent treatment and rehabilitation overseas.

The head of the Russian diplomatic mission added that about 3,500 people have already returned from the United States by export flights. The next export flight is scheduled for July 5.
