Participants from 55 countries joined Artek online project

Twenty-five thousand children and adults from 55 countries joined the "Happy Anniversary, Artek!" online project. It is dedicated to the 95th anniversary of the international children's center. Nine winners of the 95 Years of Discoveries marathon won trips to Artek, the center’s website reports.

The anniversary project lasted for 15 days and included many events, which showed the traditions and the atmosphere of Artek. 26 excursions and 30 workshops took place within the project.

Almost 800 people of different ages who were divided into teams became participants in the 95 Years of Discoveries marathon. Every day, for a week and a half, the participants performed tasks that tested knowledge of the history of Artek and prominent people associated with the legendary camp. An intellectual game, a virtual quest and other creative tournaments were also held as part of the marathon.

As a result, nine people in three teams were declared winners. Trips to Artek were won by participants from Moscow, Volgograd, Voronezh, Kirovo-Chepetsk, Obninsk and other cities. For one of the contestants, the trip to Artek will be very short - Mikhail Vlasenko lives in Yalta.
