Activists from nine countries discussed youth projects in Russia

Young Russian compatriots from nine countries participated in an online meeting organized by the Coordinating Council of Organizations of Russian Compatriots in Jordan. The videoconference brought together young activists from Russia, Jordan, Egypt, Qatar, Lebanon, Latvia and other states, the website of the World Coordinating Council of Russian Compatriots reports.

The meeting opened with a greeting by the head of the council in Jordan, Elena Shestova, and a speech by the head of the "Russia is a country of opportunities" organization Lukah Gorubin. He presented projects with the participation of Russian and foreign youth in environmental, educational, cultural and other fields.

Vladimir Chetiy, President of the World Association of Alumni of Soviet and Russian Universities, told the young compatriots what education foreign students receive in Russian universities. Mikhail Klishin, an analyst at the Moscow House of Compatriots, presented youth projects of the Moscow government at the meeting, including an internship at the City Hall of the Russian capital.
