Russia and Spain developed online course on UN sustainable development goals

North Ossetian State University (SOGU) and the Spanish University of Isabella I have created a joint online course on the UN sustainable development goals. The course will be launched in Russian, Spanish and English, it will be avialable for students of universities and countries, TASS reports.

Rector of SOGU Alan Ogoev emphasized that one of the 17 goals that had been adopted five years ago is dedicated to education. According to the rector, the implementation of each of them will change the life of mankind for the better.

The duration of the Russian-Spanish course is three and a half months. Theoretical and practical classes are provided as part of the course, students will create projects to achieve the UN sustainable development goals in areas such as economics, ecology and social problems.

The online course is developed as part of a cooperation agreement between universities. Last year, SOGU reached an agreement with four Spanish universities on joint projects in the field of education and science.
