A reading workshop called “Visiting a Fairy Tale” was launched by Russian compatriots in Palestine. The first event of the new project was the celebration of the birthday of Alexander Pushkin and the Russian Language Day, the website of the Moscow House of Compatriots reports.

The event, which took place online, was prepared and held by the Russian Palestine Society of Russian Compatriots. Both children and adults can join it. Participants read Pushkin's Tale of Tsar Saltan. Many took advantage of the unique opportunity and tried themselves as a reader or listener of Pushkin's work.

Then the kids took part in a quiz, which allowed them to show their activity and interest. Their mothers were happy that they were able to instill in the children a love of reading and the Russian language.
