Russian Language Day will bring together participants from Europe, Africa and Asia

Russian compatriots from Europe, Africa and Asia will take part in the Writers and Poets of the Russian Land, dedicated to the Day of the Russian Language. The meeting will open on the birthday of Alexander Pushkin, June 6, the website of the Moscow House of Compatriots (MHC) reports.

The meeting is being prepared by the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Amman, the Coordinating Council of Organizations of Russian Compatriots of Jordan with the participation of the MHC, the Dar Association from Morocco and the National Research Tomsk State University.

During the conversation, Russian compatriots living in Italy, Greece, Turkey, Egypt, the CIS countries and other countries will be broadcast. They will talk about the place of Russian literature in the modern world and the most popular Russian writers in different countries.

The compatriots prepare stories about the impressions of Russian classics while traveling around the world. Representatives of Russian libraries and museums will talk about the life and work of Russian writers.
