Russia and Germany to hold press conference in honor of 75th anniversary of peace

Representatives of organizations and museums, as well as historians from Russia and Germany, will take part in the online press conference called “Moscow - Berlin: 75 Years of Peace – A Memory Uniting Nations”.

The event, timed to the end of the Berlin operation and the surrender of German troops, will open at 12 am on April 29, it will be organized by Rossotrudnichestvo, the website of the World Coordinating Council of Russian Compatriots reports.

Representatives of Rossotrudnichestvo, Doctor of Historical Sciences Aleksey Plotnikov and other participants will speak at the press conference. They will talk about the significance of the event for both countries. The participation of employees of the German-Russian Museum Berlin-Karlhorst is also planned.

During the event, it is planned to uncover issues of a common history of the victory over fascism in Russia and Germany and cultural cooperation between the two countries. Rossotrudnichestvo will also present events dedicated to the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
