The results of the World War II: Be Worthy of the Memory of Ancestors competition have been summed up in Australia. Ten winners of the project were awarded tickets to the Artek International Children's Center, the website of the Council of Russian Compatriots in Australia reports.

The competition invited children and adolescents 11-17 years old to create Russian language videos. The contest was organized by the RusTolk Association and the Artek Center.

Applications for the creative tournament were sent by children from different parts of Australia. They talked about their relatives who participated in the battles, shared military stories about cities. Some interviewed veterans, there was a study involving an expert. Contestants also took part in a historical quiz.

The work was evaluated by well-known filmmakers and journalists from Russia and Australia. They noted the high level of the videos provided, especially taking into account the fact that many participants study Russian as a foreign language.

Meanwhile, a competition for the Australian children continues under "The wealth of my land." title. Ten winners, who will be selected according to its results, will also be able to go to the Artek center.
