More than half of Russian regions have limited movement of people to counter the spread of coronavirus, TASS reports. In some regions, restrictions have been introduced on entry into certain settlements, while others have restricted movement throughout the whole territory. Some subjects establish restrictions precisely in those settlements where outbreaks of the infection are found.

The authorities of all regions also introduced a regime of self-isolation. Most of the subjects suggest that all residents observe it; in certain subjects, only older people are offered to isolate themselves.

There is not a single region left in the country where cases of coronavirus infection have not been recorded.

Transport restrictions are also introduced in the Russian regions. In Mordovia, electric trains stopped running on Wednesday, public transport in Saransk will start running only three hours in the morning and three hours in the evening from Thursday. Earlier, passenger air service was canceled In Chukotka.

Almost 50% of the entities in the country entered certificates, route sheets or other mandatory documents for movement. Moreover, more and more regions are introducing electronic passes.
