In Bosnia and Herzegovina, the number of infected has already exceeded 820 people. Thirty-five people died from the infection.

Russkiy Mir reported earlier that Serbia turned to Russia for help in fighting the pandemic.

Over 170 patients in medical institutions in several cities of Serbia were examined by Russian doctors in the first days after arrival. According to representatives of the Russian Ministry of Defense, whose specialists were sent to Serbia, medical and nursing teams from Russia treated patients in Belgrade and several other settlements of the country.

The specialists studied the epidemiological situation in the cities and gave recommendations to Serbian doctors on the treatment of patients with severe forms of the disease, as well as on the organization of preventive and quarantine measures.

Specialists of the troops of radiation, chemical and biological protection continued to work on the disinfection of facilities. The Russians sanitized the Belgrade Institute of Oncology and Radiology, which treats patients from different regions of Serbia.
