The Russian animated series Masha and the Bear has become one of the most popular projects during the coronavirus epidemic among children living in European countries, TASS reports. The Russian cartoon is in the top-10, the Animaccord company, which is engaged in the production of the cartoon, explained.

According to a study conducted by the American Parrot Analytics agency, the cartoon ranked sixth in the ranking.

The demand for cartoons was measured by the number of requests for children's content and the number of views on the Internet.

Russkiy Mir reported that the Masha and the Bear series had owned a number of world records. Last year, Masha Plus Porridge became the most watched animated film on YouTube. With over 4 billion views, the series has been in the top five most watched videos on YouTube since its launch.

According to various ratings, the Russian animated series was among the five most popular children's shows on the planet and took place in the top 5 most sought-after children's brands in Europe and Latin America.
