Teachers of 4 countries discussed teaching Russian abroad

More than 300 teachers of the Russian language from different countries took part in a scientific and practical conference, the Rossotrudnichestvo website reports. The forum was held online, experts from Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Armenia and Uzbekistan joined it. It worked under the title "Model for the development of human resources for the study of the Russian language: ideology, effects, prospects for methodological and technological support." The conference was organized by the educational departments of the Komi Republic.

According to the organizers, one of the main goals of the event was to analyze the difficulties and problems of teaching the Russian language abroad. The results of the centers of open education in Russian and teaching the Russian language were also discussed during the conference.

Teachers speaking at the forum expressed confidence in the importance of consolidating Russian-language teachers. They noted that although specialists work in different countries, they remain in a single professional space. Also, the forum participants have no doubt that new technologies make it possible to turn to new formats, and the exchange of experience makes it possible to enrich and promote the language.
