Inhalers that can help treat lung inflammation caused by the coronavirus infection are planned to be launched by the Russian company PM&HM, RIA Novosti reports.

According to the founder of the company Oleg Abdiev, the main difference between the new devices is that the aerosol is sprayed just before a person takes a breath. Thanks to this innovation, the drug does not settle in the airways, and the effect of therapy significantly increases.

The inhalers can serve various drugs, including those for the treatment of pneumonia, antibiotics, and many others.

Each device costs about 3,000 rubles. The development of the inhaler is completed, tests for state registration have begun. New products are going to be delivered to state medical institutions, including compulsory medical insurance programs. The testing is going to take place in pilot regions.
