The Hague court has decided to postpone the hearing of the MH17 plane crash case until June 8, RIA Novosti reports. The judge promised that the defense will have the opportunity to state their own position.

The trial in the Netherlands started two weeks ago, on March 9. Russia's Permanent Representative to the OSCE, Alexander Lukashevich, called the process “a political trial” that has nothing to do with a professional investigation.

The plane flying from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur crashed near Donetsk on July 17, 2014. All 298 people on board died. Russian experts offered their assistance, but were removed from the investigation. Meanwhile, Moscow is ready to recognize the results of the investigation only if the country takes a full part in it.

Four people are suspected of involvement in the Boeing crash. Among them are three Russian citizens - Igor Girkin (Strelkov), Sergey Dubinsky and Oleg Pulatov, as well as Ukrainian Leonid Kharchenko. None of them are taking part in the trial.

During the meeting, it was stated that the prosecutor’s office examined the data provided by Russia. The materials of the Dutch journalist about the absence of Buk anti-aircraft missile systems in the area of the crash attracted a lot of attention, they can tendered in evidence.
