Moscow Philharmonic start series of online concerts by Denis Matsuev performance

The concert of the world-famous pianist Denis Matsuev opened the Home Seasons project of the Moscow Philharmonic. The live broadcast was available for free for music fans around the world. The concerts of leading Russian performers are on the program of the project, the Kultura TV channel reports.

Before the concert, the pianist said that he was going to picture the spectators in his mind because "the living energy of the audinece is not easy to replace." Due to the coronavirus pandemic, Matsuev canceled 85 concerts. According to the musician, in case of extension of the quarantine zone to concert halls, he will give online concerts from home.

The program of the project is intended to last until the end of March, the stars of Russian and world music will perform for free.

On March 21, the Moscow Conservatory Online Festival opened with a concert by the Moscow Soloists ensemble under the direction of Yuri Bashmet. It will also be attended by Denis Matsuev, Daniil Kramer and other famous musicians.
