Russian-language theaters from 7 countries selected to perform in Paris

The international World of Russian Theater Festival will be held in Paris. At the beginning of summer, Russian-language creative groups from different countries will bring their best performances to France. The list includes theaters from the USA, Canada, Great Britain, Israel, Italy, France, Switzerland. The festival is organized by the Teatral magazine, the current forum of Russian-speaking theater art will be the fourth in a row. It is included in the program of the Russian Seasons project.

The festival program includes not only performances, but also master classes, round-table discussions, and speeches by leading experts. Participants and guests of the festival will touch upon the most pressing issues of the development of Russian-speaking groups. The best performances will receive an invitation to tour in Russia.

This year, the festival management received applications from almost fifty teams. For the first time, theaters working in the United Arab Emirates and Australia wanted to join the festival.

The purpose of the festival is to popularize Russian theater art abroad and to support Russian foreign theaters.
