Concerts of Russian classical music and pop star performers, shows of collections of Russian fashion designers and many other events are included in the program of the annual Matryoshka Festival of Russian culture, which started in Dubai. The festival will add up to World Expo 2020 international exhibition of technical innovations, the Rossiyskaya Gazeta newspaper reports.

The guests of the festival will dive in a Russian fairy tale right from the first steps - it will be filled with national costumes, Russian songs and dances. The event will include concerts by soloists of the Mariinsky Theater, the famous pianist Yuri Rozum, contemporary popular singers Aleksey Chumakov and Nyusha.

Russian designers will present their new collections to guests. A charity auction will be held as part of the festival.

Last spring, the Zhara music festival was held in Dubai, bringing together dozens of famous performers from Russia and the CIS countries on one venue.
