Two years have passed since the Salisbury incident, the embassy of the Russian Federation in the UK noted. However, London could not provide any evidence that the Russian authorities had any involvement in it.

The comment by Russian diplomats came out on the eve of March 4, TASS reports. It was timed to the date of the so-called "Skripals case." In early spring of 2018, London tried to blame Moscow for what happened, which led to a deterioration in relations between the two countries. Nevertheless, the official version remained the version without evidence. In addition, it is replete with inconsistencies.

On the second anniversary of the incident, the Russian diplomatic mission in London published an updated version of the report entitled “Salisbury: Two Years of Unanswered Questions”. It sets out the circumstances of the incident and lists inconsistencies.

London remains true to its own tactics; it consists of throwing some indirect evidence and certain facts into the media. According to the British authorities, they should convince Moscow of the guilt in the absence of real evidence.

Diplomats emphasized that Russia does not change its own position and demands to clarify the truth about what had happened. Moscow has repeatedly expressed its readiness to cooperate in the investigation of the incident and to normalize diplomatic ties with Great Britain, based on mutual respect and equality. In this case, the choice remains with London,  the embassy summed up.
