Victory Dictation campaign to be held in at least 40 countries

The Victory Dictation campaign will bring together at least 40 countries this year, the website of the United Russia party reports. According to the coordinator of the Historical memory project, State Duma deputy Alexander Khinshtein, platforms will open in many European and CIS countries. The dictation will also be written in the United States.

The applications to take part in the campaign also came from Africa, Asia and South America, the deputy added.

According to the latest data, the number of sites will exceed 5,500. For example, in Kazakhstan, participants will be able to write a dictation in twelve cities, where one and a half dozen sites will open. In Moldova, the Victory Dictation will be held in six cities, in Abkhazia - in all schools of the republic. The residents of all countries, which fought against Nazi Germany, will take part in the dictation.

The Victory Dictation will be held on April 24. It was first held in 2019 in 21 states. This list included Denmark, Israel, Serbia, Poland, Tajikistan, Belarus, Armenia, China and other countries. The dictation platforms worked in regional centers, in cities with a population of more than five hundred thousand people, in cities of military glory and hero cities. They joined the action online.

The tasks for the dictation are prepared by historians. They are dedicated to dates, events, military geography, historical figures, posters of the military era, fiction, monuments, and much more. Final questions will be examined in Rosobrnadzor.
