The monument to Russian soldiers will be consecrated in St. Petersburg, according to the Russian national line website. After it, the monument will be installed in Los Angeles. The ceremony is planned in the Kazan Cathedral, it is scheduled for February 22. They will consecrate the double-headed eagle, which is the central part of the monument in honor of the soldiers and officers of the Russian Imperial Army.

The monument in the form of a soaring double-headed eagle was made in Sochi by order of the Russian Orthodox community in Los Angeles. The eagle is made in a unique technique: each feather is forged individually and assembled into a single composition. The compatriots expressed the desire that the figure be sanctified in St.Petersburg.

A few days later, the eagle will be sent overseas. It will be installed on a pedestal near the Russian Orthodox Cathedral in the name of the Icon of the Mother of God the Recovery of the Dead in Los Angeles.
