The tour of the Turetsky Choir in Bulgaria began with great success, TASS reports. The first concert was held on February 26 in Sofia. Not a single seat was left empty in a 3.000 seat concert hall. Spectators sang along to Russian musicians when they performed My Country, My Bulgaria, Kalinka, Moscow Evenings and many other compositions. The concert went on for about three hours, and throughout the evening the applause did not cease. Russian Ambassador to Bulgaria Anatoly Makarov presented a basket of flowers to the performers.

Mikhail Turetsky himself said that all tickets went out of sale long before the performance. In his opinion, people just miss normal music. The repertoire of the collective is extremely diverse and extensive. These are folk songs, opera arias, rock hits, and other genres in different languages. The audience is delighted with this variety, and in Bulgaria, Soviet hits are enjoyed with pleasure.

The head of the creative team noted that they prepare for concerts very thoroughly, because they contribute to the rapprochement of the peoples of the two countries.

Mikhail Turetsky praised the Bulgarian audience very much. In his opinion, one cannot dream of a better audience - it is friendly and sincere. Here they perceive classical music well, understand musical art.

He also promised that he would definitely come to Bulgaria again to sing victory songs. This concert brought together the best songs about peace, war, feat and love.
