Pupils from Meaux (France) visited a St. Petersburg school. During their stay, the guests visited the school Museum of Military Glory dedicated to the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. They also attended a "courage lesson" with Russian peers, the website of the Central District of St. Petersburg reports.

At school, French students attended classes in Russian language, history and history of St. Petersburg. Also during the visit, the guests talked with school students studying French.

The French received gift booklets on the history of the Great Patriotic War, a guide to the sights of St. Petersburg and a picture with the symbols of the city. All souvenirs were made by students of the St. Petersburg school.

Many Russian schools collaborate with educational institutions in France. In February, a Perm school hosted guests from Le Taillan-Médoc. The guests visited the museums of the city and got acquainted with the Russian education system.
