Moscow suspends flights with South Korea, RIA Novosti reports. The cause was an outbreak of coronavirus infection in the country. According to Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova, regular and charter flights of only two airlines are allowed from the beginning of next month: Aeroflot and Aurora. According to recent reports, the number of patients infected with Covid-19 in South Korea exceeded one thousand two hundred people. More than ten deaths have already been reported.

In addition, the Russian authorities are stopping the issuance of visas to Iranian citizens. Starting February 28, only business and humanitarian Russian visas can be obtained, the Deputy Prime Minister explained. Air traffic is not suspended, but the monitoring will continue.

Golikova added that the restrictions previously imposed by the Russian government in connection with the outbreak in China will be extended until April 1.
