Museums, creative teams, universities associated with the name of Russian poet Sergei Yesenin, will unite in an international cluster, TASS reports. Other organizations that bear the name of the Russian poet will also join it. The cultural and educational cluster will operate at Ryazan State University. The creation of the large-scale site is timed to coincide with Yesenin’s 125th anniversary.

The university explained that the cluster will play the role of a platform designed for the exchange of various information, including research works and events. In addition, it will help to create a unified cultural and educational space.

The cluster will include about two dozen museums of the poet. Among them are those which are situated not only in his homeland, but also in Moscow, Azerbaijan, and Uzbekistan. The organizers are sure that it is impossible to implement the project without national and private museums, also dedicated to Sergey Yesenin. A dozen libraries from across the country bearing the name of Yesenin, research centers in Ryazan, Donetsk and Lugansk, a concert hall in Ryazan, internet resources, and organizing committees of Yesenin festivals will join the project.

The participants will conduct music and poetry forums, webinars and video bridges. Ryazan Yesenin Research Center is going to conduct lectures. The Ryazan researchers have been working on a map of the Yesenin places for several years. It describes the travel routes of the poet in detail.
