Moscow and St. Petersburg have become the leaders in the rating of quality of life among the Russian regions, Gazeta.ru writes. As part of the study, experts had to assess the state of a wide variety of living conditions. The compilers considered seventy indicators.

The Moscow region was placed at the third line of the rating. Tatarstan and the Belgorod region made it to top-5. They are followed by the Krasnodar Territory, Voronezh Region, the Leningrad and Kaliningrad Regions and the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area.

The Jewish Autonomous Region, the Karachay-Cherkess Republic and Tuva got the last positions of the list.

As Russkiy Mir reported, this January Moscow got the fifth place in the World’s Best Cities - 2020 ranking, compiled by the American consulting company Resonance Consultancy. The authors of the rating called Moscow “a dynamic metropolis”, noting the sights, culture and diverse cuisine of the Russian capital.
