Russia’s Permanent Mission to UN starts project on Russian diplomats in social networks

A special project about Russian diplomats in the United Nations launched at the Russian permanent mission of the international organization. The project is supported by the UN News Service, TASS reports. The action is dedicated to the professional holiday of Russian diplomats celebrated on February 10.

The curator of the project, Fyodor Strzhizhovsky, recalled that representatives of Russia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs have been working at the UN since its foundation. Up until now, Russian diplomats continue to lead responsible and significant areas of the organization’s activities. This fact, according to the diplomat, once again testifies to the high standards of the Russian school of diplomacy. It is respected all over the world.

The project features interviews with Russians who are currently in high positions at the UN.The head of the Counter-Terrorism Directorate Vladimir Voronkov, the head of the UN office in Geneva Tatyana Valova, the head of the Office of Justice and the Rule of Law in the Department of Peacekeeping Operations Dmitry Titov are among them.

Historical and documentary materials devoted to the life and work of the most famous figures of Soviet and Russian diplomats are also published on social networks.
