The Russian-Italian Film Festival opens on Thursday, February 6, in Krasnoyarsk, according to the Glas Naroda program. The screening will take place in more than fifteen cities of the country, as opposed to last autumn, when the forum was held in Moscow. Rostov-on-Don, Novosibirsk, St. Petersburg, Ufa, Perm, Sochi, and other cities are now also hosting the festival.

The Russians will have the chance to watch a dozen of features: from film distribution leaders to the works of young directors, from deep dramas to life-affirming comedies. Guido Chiesa’s comedy Let Me Introduce You to Sofia (2018) will open the forum.
The program also includes thematic days dedicated to the culture of different regions and cities of Italy, including talk Rome and Naples.

Traitor (2019), a feature about mafia based on a real story, will close the festival. The feature was part of the Cannes Film Festival program and received the Italian Golden Globe Award in the Best Film of the Year nomination.

All features will be screened in Italian with Russian subtitles.
