Photos of exhibits from 35 leading Moscow museums in good quality are now available on the website of the capital’s Department of Culture. Images of 38,039 exhibits and information about 130 exhibitions, as well as biographies of prominent people who played an important role in the life of a museum, are posted there.

The Museum of Cosmonautics, the Museum of Vladimir Vysotsky, the Museum of Moscow, the Gorky Park, the Borodino Battle Museum, the Kolomenskoye Museum-Reserve and many other cultural institutions have their special pages on the website. 35 Moscow museums opened their collections to online visitors.

For example, the page of the State Museum of Vladimir Mayakovsky contains more than 250 exhibits, among which the poet’s personal belongings, his books and unique photographs, including those recently received by the museum. The Museum of Defense of Moscow has uploaded photographs of dozens of weapons and awards of the 19th-20th centuries, documents and posters of the war years.

The Borodino Battle Museum presented almost 11 thousand exhibits - documents, prints, awards, weapons, covers of Russian and foreign books and other photographs. Users can search for the desired image according to a number of criteria and create their own thematic albums.

The updated catalog of exhibitions has also become popular. The catalogue contains annotations for expositions, as well as photographs of exhibits.
