The masterpiece of the Russian ballet, The Swan Lake, was shown to residents of Berlin, TASS reports. The theater at Potsdamer Platz hosts the Berlin International Festival every year. This year dancers of the Moscow Classical Ballet Theater took part in it. They presented a performance in Berlin to the music of Tchaikovsky in the classic version of Marius Petipa and Lev Ivanov.

Spectators warmly welcomed the famous choreography of Russian dancers. Their skill and talent were complemented by the vibrant scenery and the use of modern technologies. It helped the audience, along with the performers, to visit the royal castle or the shore of the lake.

The performance in Berlin became part of a big European tour. The Moscow State Ballet has already visited Mainz, Darmstadt, Leipzig, Kiel, Wiesbaden, Dusseldorf, Cologne.  After Berlin, the Moscow Ballet will go to Hamelin.

Russian dancers invited the audience to visit Moscow. In particular, the team acts as the organizer of the Summer Ballet Festival, which will begin in June. The program will include Swan Lake and other performances by the Moscow State Ballet, as well as productions of other creative groups.
