Russian cinema week takes place in Israel

A week of Russian cinema takes place in Israel, the website of the Ministry of Culture reports. Residents of Tel Aviv, Jerusalem and Raanan are getting acquainted with the latest features from Russia.

The program includes screenings of seven features, including The House Elf by Evgeny Bedarev, Mistresses by Elena Khazanova, Sunday by Svetlana Proskurina. Thawed Carp by Vladimir Kott, Kaddish by Konstantin Fam, How Viktor "the Garlic" Took Alexey "the Stud" to the Nursing Home by Alexander Hunt and Love them all by Maria Agranovich will be also screened during the festival.

Directors Konstantin Fam, Vladimir Kott, Evgeny Bedarev, screenwriter Artyom Vitkin and actor Timur Efremenko will introduce their works to Israelian public.

Screenings of films at the Russian Cultural Center in Tel Aviv will continue until December 30. All features are shown with subtitles in Hebrew.
