Valaam Monastery creates mobile app with 3D tour

Excursions and high-quality panoramas, a map of the island of Valaam, historical data on the monastery, church books and much more are available in the new mobile application created by the specialists of the Valaam monastery. The application provides the opportunity to get acquainted with the beauties and history of the monastery and the region from anywhere in the world, the Peterburgskiy Dnevnik reports.

According to the creators, more than seven hundred 360-degree panoramas are collected in the app, which makes it possible to look into almost all corners of the island and the monastery. The app also contains texts, audio tours and videos that tell about all the significant objects of the monastery. The app can work offline, it is available in all application stores.

Museums from different cities and regions of Russia are actively developing virtual services that will allow to get acquainted with their collections.
