Russian booth opens at festival of world cultures in Ireland

A stand dedicated to Russia opened at St. Mark's School in Dublin on World Cultural Day, which is held annually at the school. The stand on the history and culture of Russia was created with the participation of the Russian Embassy in Ireland and Russian compatriots, the Nasha Gazeta newspaper reports. 

The largest cities of Russia and see the main attractions of the country are shown through the photos. The booth also made it possible to get acquainted with traditional Russian crafts, Russian costume and traditions of the New Year in Russia, see a unique collection of Russian dolls and drink tea from a samovar with pies, bagels and other Russian pastries.

The third secretary of the Russian Embassy in Ireland Victoria Loginova met with the director and chairman of the school, as well as teachers and students, during the festival. Children of different nationalities, including Russians, study at the school. The teaching staff at the school is also multinational, for example, the specialist in teaching methods came from Russia.
