Moscow university holds advanced courses for RSL teachers in Germany

Moscow State Pedagogical University (MSPU) held advanced courses for Russian as a second language teachers of Germany. The events took place on December 6 and 7 in the Russian center in Mainz. 

Teachers of German state and supplementary schools were invited to take part in a course called Modern Education in Russian in a Multicultural World. 

The participants discussed how preserve Russian culture and language in a foreign sociocultural environment and how to motivate students to study cultural heritage. 
 
The speakers of MSPU talked about the digitalization of language teaching, the peculiarities of work with modern teenage and youth audience and the use of internet resources. They also touched upon cognitive of studying the Russian language system and the national image of the world in the language of Russian literature. 

Despite the complicated program, MSPU professors were attentive to each listener, willingly answered questions and tried to convey to everyone the meaning and need to carry on Russian culture and language. At the end of the course, all students received state certificates.
