Russian language specialists held forum in Tunisia

More than 50 directors and Russian language and culture centers from Africa, and also parents of bilingual kids have participated in 2-days pedagogical forum in Hammamet, Tunisia. The forum was conducted in the frames of international conference dedicated to the role of Russian language in contemporary world, TASS reports. 

Russian language specialists from Algeria, Egypt, Morocco and other African countries gathered at the forum. The special attention was paid to the contemporary teaching methodologies of Russian language and literature, and other subjects. The forum was organised by the National Parents' Association, following Rossotrudnichestvo initiative. The event was supported by the Russian Center of Science and Culture in Tunisia and local Russian Heritage association. 

It was advised during October Russia- Africa forum that Africa residents are getting more and more interested in Russian language. Note, the Russian Center in Botswana is to be opened soon.
